Jon Repp

Repp Racing started with my first Junior Dragster,

then evolved into all four of my siblings racing their own Juniors!

I progressed from a stock 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton to

highly modified 50+ horsepower alky burning Junior that ran the

1/8 mile in 8 seconds at 80 MPH. I learned how to work on cars,

how to be competitive, sportsmanship and many of the other

leadership skills that have made me who I am today.

Next step was my first "Big Car", a 1967 Pontiac GTO.  I built a pump gas 400

that pushed that totally stock weight car into the high 12's.

Dad always told me to race at the strip, "get a ticket and the car goes away".

To this day, I've never had a moving violation.

Next, we built a 220" rear engine dragster that ran 8.50's at almost 160 MPH.

I trailered this car in a variety of trailers from a 32' pull to a 45' gooseneck.

We started a Royal Purple Dealership out of our garage back in the Junior days.

Working from our newly constructed shop, I managed the day to day operations

growing that business into one of the nations top Warehouse Distributors.

Our A/Fuel Nitro Injected Dragster. We completed the car in 2007

and secured sponsorship for the 2008 season. Unfortunately, the

economic recession left our sponsor unable to fund their agreement.

We never had the opportunity to compete with the car, but the process

created many learning experiences and provided valuable knowledge.

Next step? I am actively seeking a position on a fuel team.

I am willing to start at the bottom and work my way up.

I don't smoke, drink, or call in sick.

I don't have children or a wife so I can hit the road or work in the shop.

I'm located in Brownsburg, Indiana and I have an excellent work history

with multiple letters of recommendation and a perfect driving record.
